The rooms are cosy with LOW CEILINGS (caution required by the tall (1.8m/6ft+).
The flatlet is self-contained, with separate access down a gentle ramp through the side gate, on the garden level of our family home. The rooms and the light (unheated) conservatory face south over the peaceful mature garden with lawn, shrubs and trees, and with glimpses of the Mendip Hills. There is a comfortable, king-size bed, and we can fit in a folding bed or travel cot for a child. Much of the bed linen is organic, and we use environmentally-friendly cleaning products.
We provide all you need for a continental breakfast in your kitchen when you arrive: tea, coffee, milk, cereals, eggs, bread, butter and spreads. The provisions are organic and/or FairTrade as far as possible, and we can provide non-dairy milk or gluten-free bread etc on request. The kitchen is fully equipped for you to make your own meals, though if you prefer Clifton has a variety of wonderful cafes and restaurants nearby.
The flat is about 10-15 minutes walk from the University of Bristol, and about 20 minutes walk to the BRI or to the centre of Bristol.
You can take your meals on the terrace, and you are welcome to share the garden. There are cats and visiting foxes, badgers, bats and birds too.

There is a £40 fee for cleaning per booking.
There is no charge for children under 6 years.
Reductions for longer stays:
- 15% for a week or more
- 25% for a month or more
Payment options
- Payment before arrival by PayPal, Credit/Debit Card (via PayPal) or Bank Transfer.
- For stays of 28 days or longer, a deposit of £300 is required, refundable in the event of cancellation more than seven days before commencement of the stay.
Cancellation
For stays of less than 28 days:
- More than 24 hours before stay commences: Full Refund
- 24 hours or less before stay commences: Full Refund less the cost of two nights’ stay
For stays of 28 days or longer:
- More than 7 days before stay commences: Full Refund
- 7 days or less before stay commences: Full Refund less the deposit of £300
After the stay commences
- The pro-rata charge for the remaining period of the booking less the cost of two nights stay
